How it started
In 2010 my grandfather left us cedar beams that he rescued from a burn pile. From those timbers and other trees fallen on our farm, we designed and built a meeting hall. Through this experience we developed a love for the intimate nature of timberframing, devotion to the individuality of trees, and enduring nature of the building form.
This has been our inheritance. Let us build yours.

Sometimes a special tree falls and you want to remember that tree. With our portable sawmill, we can cut your tree into usable timber to create a product out of the wood from that tree.
With furniture, we utilize pegged mortise and tenon joinery, dovetails for drawer slides, and biscuit joinery for tabletops. Efficiency is secondary to durability.
