Here’s the deal: most trees you see have lived, and will live longer than you. Often, they are the most ancient living things we interact with. Many trees have seen the world change. It is a sad reality that the vast majority of these trees get turned into 2x4 studs to hold up gypsum sheetrock. There is, however, another way to celebrate the legacy and gift of these trees, and that is to mill it and build it into a product that you will cherish.

At Inheritance Timberframes we can take essentially any tree you want and turn it into specific lumber dimensions for your project. We use an LT40 mobile sawmill in tandem with our Kubota front-end loader. We max out at 32” diameter trees 18’ long. Once the lumber is cut, you can use it for a DIY project or we can take it and turn it into a product that you will pass down to your kids as an inheritance.
